Karen M Gambles CPA
Director

Karen became one of the directors/owners of Paragon BDS in January 2008 having been with the firm since October 2005. Karen has over 15 years experience in the Accounting and Taxation fields both in Australia and New Zealand.

Karen is an Authorised Representative for financial planning with Count Financial Limited.

Paragon BDS is an Authorised Representative of Count.  'Count' is the trading name of Count Financial Limited, ABN 19 001 974 625.  AFS Licence Number 227232.  Principal Member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia Limited.

Angela Bissett CPA
Client Manager

Angela commenced working for Paragon BDS in the Sheffield office in 1990. She now has 25 years extensive experience in the small and medium enterprise fields in taxation, GST, superannuation fund administration and business services.

During this time Angela has also been involved with training, practice administration, practice management, project software implementation and merger administration for the firm. This knowledge of the business combined with her attention to detail and highly developed organisational skills is regarded highly by her clients and other team members.

Renee Blanch
Receptionist/Office Assistant

Renee joined the Paragon BDS team in March 2008 as receptionist/office assistant in our Sheffield office. Renee brings with her 5 years customer service experience.

Renee believes that our clients deserve the best service that we can provide and she is always willing to make sure our clients are happy. As part of Renee's role she also provides administration assistance to Karen Gambles who is our Financial Planning representative.

Katrina Bundy
Business Manager

Katrina joined the Team in September 2004 as Bryan's personal assistant and has worked in administration for the accounting and insurance profession since 1992.

In her role as Business Manager, Katrina is responsible for ensuring the day to day smooth running of the business.

Leonie Chilcott FIPA
Client Manager

Leonie joined the Paragon BDS Team in 2000 and has worked for almost 30 years in the profession. Leonie has gained extensive experience in the fields of taxation, accounting and business services, GST and superannuation fund administration.

Leonie enjoys interacting and building positive relationships with clients and assisting them to reach their full business potential, alongside of training them to understand their various taxation obligations. This combined with her local knowledge and experience is highly regarded by her clients and fellow team members.

Diane Markham
Office Administrator

Diane has been a part of the Paragon BDS team since 2001 when she commenced as receptionist.

Diane's present role within the Team is as Practice Administrator and although based in our Ulverstone Office has spent time over the years working in the Sheffield office enabling her to build a strong rapport with our clients.

Karen Quaile
Workflow Manager

Karen joined the Paragon BDS team in November 2009 and brings with her 25 years experience in the Administration sector along with a Certificate IV in Financial Services (Accounting).

Previously working in the manufacturing and aged care sectors, Karen has been involved in all financial and administration aspects of business, culminating in five years as Finance & Administration Manager at a local Aged Care facility.

   

Maryanne Richey CPA
Client Manager

Maryanne commenced work with Pinkard Rawson & Rowe in 1986 and has been a part of the Paragon BDS team since 2000. With almost 25 years in the profession, Maryanne has gained extensive experience in the fields of taxation for small and medium enterprises, GST, audit of Businesses, Associations and Superannuation Funds and superannuation fund administration. She has also had experience in training junior accounting staff.

Maryanne takes an active "client first" approach to her work and prides herself on doing that little bit extra to ensure she provides the best possible service in a competent timely and professional manner.

   

Annette Powell
Client Manager

Annette qualified as an Accountant and Tax Agent with Touche & Ross in 1989 and spent the next 10 years preparing tax and accounting work for clients as well as project management.  After many years working in accounting offices in control of debtors, creditors, payroll and general administration, she then ran her own accounting business in sunny Queensland.

Over the past 23 years Annette has gained expertise in all aspects of accounting and taxation.  She enjoys meeting with clients and helping them to organise and run their own businesses.  She is now a permanent resident of Tasmania and is loving it.
